England international and Nigerian descendant Tammy Abraham impressed yesterday for Jose Mourinho to lead AS Roma in their 36th league game of the current Italian Serie A campaign against Salernitana at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.

The 25-year-old football maestro and English academy product Chelsea football club started off the bench for tactical reasons but was introduced in the second half for Georginio Wijnaldum, as his side trailed 2-1 behind and he was able to play his part and also contribute his quota in helping his team save vital points.

In the 54th minute of the match, the visitors were back ahead through a goal from Boulaye Dia which made it two goals to one before Nemanja Matic came to the rescue, as the hosts equalized with an equalizer in the 83rd minute. to make it two draws which was the final score at full time thereby ending the game with no winners and no losers.

Tammy Abraham with his big impact in a thrilling and sharply contested encounter will be hoping to maintain his team’s standards in the next game as they continue their pursuit in the competition.
