Jared Francis Harris or better known as Jared Harris. This British man has been involved in the world of acting since 1989. His quite popular role in Mr. Deeds (2002), The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008), Sherlock Holmes : A Game of Shadows (2011), Lincoln (2012), and Allied (2016).
Since 1989 Jared Harris has starred in 61 films, three of which are voice actors. Among the many titles, here are six lists of the best films.
1. Morbius
One of the characters from Marvel Comics, Morbius. Made into the film Morbius (2022) as the 3rd film project in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe. Tells the story of brothers Morbius and Milo who turn into blood-sucking creatures.
Dr. Emil Nicholas (Jared Harris) adopted Morbius and Milo when they were children. They both have abnormalities in their blood. As an adult Dr. Michael Morbius (Jared Leto) becomes a researcher. Morbius collects vampire bats from Costa Rica. Whose blood is modified with his own blood.
He tries to self-medicate by becoming a blood-sucking creature with a special gene. Everything about the weakness of the blood-sucking creatures has been removed. So that he becomes like a superhero. Milo Morbius (Matt Smith) also has a blood disorder like Morbius.
Milo hopes that Morbius can heal himself in the same way. However, Morbius refuses and makes Milo angry. Milo steals Morbius’ artificial blood, and turns into a vampire. Milo injures his father, unfortunately Morbius arrives too late.
Morbius painstakingly creates vampire antibodies to finish off Milo. Until finally Milo died, and Morbius disappeared with a flock of bats.
2. Allies
Allied (2016) a romantic war drama film starring Brad Pitt as Max Vatan, Marion Cotillard as Marianne Beauséjour, and Jared Harris as Frank Heslop. It tells the story of a Canadian intelligence agent who falls in love with a French liberator.
They were both in Casablanca in 1942. Max was assigned to kill a German ambassador. Marianne and Max succeed in their task. Then they fled to London. Married, and was born a daughter named Anna.
However, Marianne is suspected of being a German spy. Frank Heslop (Jared Harris) scolds Max for running away to London. And caused Adam Hunter who was looking for the truth of Marianne’s identity to be killed. Marianne finally confesses her true identity to Max.

Max takes Marianne and Anna away. Marianne insists on having Max take Anna alone without her. Marianne shot herself. Heslop and the gendarmerie testify that Max has sentenced Anna to death. Max brought Anna to live together in Alberta, Canada.
3. Poltergeist
Madison Bowen (Kennedi Clements) is brought to the spirit world in their new home. Dr. Brooke Powell (Jane Adams), the chief investigator on the case of Madison’s disappearance, finally enlists the help of Carrigan Burke (Jared Harris), a mystic who often appears on television.
Carrigan helps the Bowen family find and bring Madison home. Madison was successfully brought back to the human world. However, the spirits continue to pursue Madison.
Carrigan eventually enters the spirit world to guide them back to the light of the afterlife. The Bowen family managed to get out safely from the house and find a new home. Carrigan and Dr. Brooke becomes a partner in a show about spirits on screen.
4.Lincoln
The Thirteenth Amendment proposal of the President of the United States Abraham Lincoln (Daniel Day Lewis) proposed in 1863, wanted to be passed immediately so that slaves who had been released would not be forced to become slaves again.
Abraham teams up with Francis Preston Blair (Hal Holbrook), the founder of the Republican Party who is able to dominate orthodox groups in the suburbs to pass the amendment.
On the other hand, Abraham and Secretary of State William Seward (David Strathairn) are trying to defend the Democrats so that they continue to vote for the ratification of the amendment. Abraham also made Ulysses S. Grant (Jared Harris) lieutenant general for his contribution to winning the Chattanooga Campaign.
Ulysses fights Robert E. Lee (Christopher Boyer), a Confederate general during the campaign on Petersburg. After 13 months, Robert was finally captured by Ulysses and admitted defeat.
Abraham was enthusiastic about all his struggles with the help of many people for the successful liberation of slaves. The night of April 14th, someone shot Abraham near the Grover Theatre. In the process of his funeral, Abraham’s facial expression was calm.
